The development of the reconstruction project was based on the principles of maximum convenience for patients and medical staff in accordance with international standards of medical care.

An operating unit with 2 operating rooms with express sterilization and preoperative rooms. An intensive care unit with 13 beds and an isolation ward in the appropriate premises.

Within the implementation of the project for the reconstruction of the operating and intensive care units the following was carried out:
— construction works that included measures for energy efficiency of the building;
— laying of new engineering networks and a system of medical gases;
— construction of ventilation and air conditioning systems;
— installation of uninterruptible power supply systems (equipment and automation);

— installation of modern equipment for the intensive care units and the operating unit;
— modern design of the workplace instead of a disordered pile of equipment stored on the floor;
— an elaborate technological scheme of patients and staff flows based on the specifics of the premises and modern standards that prevents contamination and increased the efficiency of infection control.
