MBPG engineers together with a partner-company caresyntax® (Germany) designed and built 4 state-of-the-art operating rooms in the new building of Vinnytsia EMD. The entire operating room environment - endoscopic devices built into the walls and hanging video systems, the main sources of hospital data, as well as peripherals such as operating table, ceiling lighting or room video cameras are centrally controlled from the sterile part of the operating room. The built-in optical segment of the local network allows you to use patient information from the hospital information system and images from the PACS archive and diagnostic equipment directly during real-time operations, providing 4 parallel streams of 4K video and the best on-screen image quality. Surgeons need two things in their video channels to improve results: as clear images as possible and true zero latency. This approach significantly increases the level of detail that surgeons can see and provides a clear path to the deployment of future technologies and standards.
The first stage of installation included the creation of the optical segment of the network and work on the modernization of the SCS hospital, as well as the preparation of niches in the walls of "clean" operating rooms.
The final assembly of the equipment and installation of the system was carried out by the IBSP team led by engineer caresyntax and took exactly 6 days, followed by training of surgical teams that will directly operate and use CX-PRIME.
Integration into a large audio-visual network and integration of operating rooms into existing clinical information systems provide unlimited opportunities for teleconferencing and telesurgery. The system will provide a synergistic effect in the operating room and thus increase the efficiency of the hospital.
